Project VerdeJet One | Perth, Western Australia
Project VerdeJet One is the inaugural facility in CR Fuels’ modular SAF production network, currently being developed out of Perth, Western Australia, with deployment targeted for a high-potential location within the Euro-APAC region.
The project is designed to demonstrate the scalability and flexibility of CR Fuels’ decentralised Alcohol-to-Jet model, providing a replicable blueprint for sustainable aviation fuel production across the region.
By combining modular plant design, secure regional feedstock strategies, and an export-ready vision, Project VerdeJet One lays the groundwork for a new era of low-carbon aviation in the Euro-APAC region.
CR Fuels’ modular approach is designed to unlock flexibility, reduce emissions, and accelerate deployment. By decoupling ethanol production from SAF production, we’re able to build smaller-scale, decentralised ATJ-SAF plants closer to where ethanol is already produced and closer to where SAF is needed.
This not only reduces the carbon footprint associated with transporting feedstocks and fuel but also supports the scalable growth of both the SAF and low-carbon ethanol industries. Our model enables regional deployment, promotes local supply chain development, and lays the foundation for a future where low-carbon fuels are more affordable, accessible, and responsive to demand.
